Manlier, sexier Layton with that out and coffee, very good
This has about 16 different notes,a complex arrangement that has a woody, warm spicy, musky encentive. The oud and civet are key but are rounded out by the vanilla, coffee and other notes.It is long lasting and has a strong silliage.I spray on before bedtime and in the morning there is a spicy, woody and slightly sweet trail still going on. I think the coffee, oud and almond brings this to another level over the original Layton. This has a richer, darker, mysterious, animalistic character made for the night. Good for a strong man but I'm a female who wears it, only for a confident and mature woman could pull off. Well blended and sophisticated. A masterpiece that should be in anyone's collection of fragrances.
This one is way better than the OG. If you like the OG but feel like its leaning designer, this sprinkles more depth into the scent and gives it an opulent vibe; the coffee and the oud just are perfect here. This can be described as a mature layton for cooler waether.
Red apple baked in sugar and spices. The base contains more sweet vanilla, pepper (lots of pepper), and cardamom. The apple remains just a background.
