It's known for being a powerful, spicy, sweet, and smoky fragrance, great for those seeking a luxury scent experience on a budget, especially for evening wear.

I haven't smelled the original Ombre Nomade, but this is actually a really well done rose-oud. The westernized oud accord is pretty standard and something you can easily find in a Franck Olivier fragrance. Fortunately, it's a tad "dirtier" than most, but absolutely not funky nor animalic, especially in the sillage. In fact, off of skin it's mostly a very elegant dark rose, neither fruity, nor cheap smelling. For the autumn and winter, this will do nicely as a rose-oud base for layering. Best part is that the projection is about perfect for what it is. Any stronger and it could easily be overbearing. I normally use 6-10 sprays and with this one you only need 3-4. The magnetic cap is weak and the atomizer isn't great, but the fragrance is legit. It gets the thumbs up.

I like this fragrance but hoping time and maceration will see it evolve into what I think it can be. Right now I’m getting some synthetic smells but as with other fragrances I own, I know this usually passes.
