This I'd give a 3.5 , it will shine as a winter fragrance because once it starts to dry down the cardamon, cinnamon and vanilla giving this an almost chai tea like scent really make it wearable. But that opening the first time you ever spray it on. If I was in a store I would have bought something else with zero hesitation.
The presentation is unreal for the price. The atomizer is really solid as well.
The opening reminds me of Asdaaf - Madj Al Sultan which Lattafa also owns. I hated that fragrance so much I threw it in the trash. When I sprayed this on this one youtuber wasn't joking you've got to really scrub it off. This is EDP concentration as well so I'm very happy about that. Before running to review websites give this one at least 20 or 30 minutes, as the longer you wear it the more sweet it gets without it going in a feminine direction.
When it dries onto your skin I can see what everyone is talking about the oud and other middle eastern elements to this are in the background playing a supporting role. It's definitely got some inspiration from La Nuit De L'homme and one million. The fragrance is often compared to Interlude Man by Amouage and Tom Ford - Oud Wood.
the fragrance is warm and spicy type fragrance, a bit dark and a subtle amount of smokiness. As I've said before the sweetness saves it from going in the trash as it adds this airiness to it.
projection is really good, not beast mode but still really great
longevity about 8 to 12 hours. However this is one of those that after the first wear or two that it gets stronger.
if this is your first Lattafa fragrance get Oud For Greatness instead especially if you're new to middle eastern fragrances. I can see this being a youthful fragrance, clubbing at best. If they toned down the oud and did a more western flanker it would be a hit. Would I buy another bottle when this runs out? probably not
