Fantastic Citrus Floral Fragrance; Better than Neroli Portofino

* Pretty much a perfect clone of Neroli Portofino
* Extremely bright citrus and floral fragrance with a clean soapy drydown
* The aromatic fougere version of a citrus fragrance
* A rare floral fragrance that men can use confidently
* Totally unisex
* Fresh and aromatic
* Proof that sometimes less is more when it comes to fragrances
* good performance
* Great for warmer weather
* Good for users of all ages
* Versatile
* Good price
* Fantastic presentation that rivals some of Lattafa's best

* Can come off as industrial citrus cleaner to some noses
* More floral than citrusy
* Might not appeal to fans of more citrusy fragrances such as the Light Blue and Acqua di Gio lines

Lazuli's Al Wataniah is pretty much a perfect clone of Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino. It's an extremely bright citrus and floral fragrance, emphasis on the floral. Those are pretty much the only two notes, but they are so strong that it almost comes across like an aromatic fougere in and of itself. Incredible. This is fresh and highly aromatic and proves that less can be more. This is quite strong and can come off as industrial cleaner to some noses because of that. The citrus is really more of a citrus blossom and the florals dominate here. If you're looking for actual citrus a la Acqua di Gio or Light Blue, this might be disappointing. But as a floral fragrance, particularly one that men can use, this is pretty awesome.

This is totally unisex, great for the warmer weather, good for all ages and very versatile. The price is great and the unique presentation rivals some of Lattafa's best. Add in strong performance and this is a total winner. Highly recommended.

Where's the citrus?

Not sure if it's my bottle, but I hardly get any citrus in this at all. The floral neroli heart from Neroli Portofino is certainly there though and it lasts longer than the TF. Presentation is outstanding. Never seen such an elegant box at this price and the bottle is lovely. It's not a rectangle so it doesn't quite slot in nicely with my other rectangular bottles, but it's still comfortable to hold. Longevity is decent for a floral, but you need to spray a bit more from the lackluster atomizer to get over 5 hours. If you're looking for a bright and sparkling citrus, this ain't it.

Fresh stuff!

Super fresh neroli and citruses. Sprays on and stays on. Great sillage, and longevity. For sure the best Neroli Portofino clone to date.
