I was excited to get the original code as it is my favorite scent ever, but something is wrong with the scent, could be because it was poorly stored or something but it smells off, nothing like the real og code. Couldn't get a refund either so now i basically bought the bottle to look at it. UNUSABLE is how id describe it.

My husband has been wearing Code since 2010 so it was kind of a signature scent. This version sold now on Perfume online is the new batches after reformulation with the new packaging. Unfortunately, although the scent is the same, performance has been affected greatly. It now lasts 1-2 hours on skin (EDT) will little village.
Recently purchased this. Very well packed, delivered on time and comparative price..

It was a sad day when they discontinued this .. I mean, "updated it". This version had arguably better longevity. Anyone who questions the longevity of it, don't wear it in a month or two and then try it again and you'll be surprised. It was extremely easy to wear, usually in formal occasions, date night or professional settings. This is a dark, smooth, almost "scuffed" leather, there's some bergamot to brighten it up slightly and the spices add some complexity. By the dry down it's tonka bean which gives it this almost vanilla like base. I didn't know there was tobacco in this until recently as this was before I read the notes on fragrantica. I can't find anything I dislike about it.
