Oud For Glory is a clone of Initio's Oud For Greatness. Having had no exposure to that cologne, I can only judge this on its own merits. It's a really good and quite powerful oud forward cologne. It blends oud, wood, and spice from the powerful opening with fragrant patchouli and subtle rose, leather and smoke aromas showing up on the very strong drydown.
This is a ridiculously strong performer, with lasting longevity and massive projection and sillage. After applying in the morning, I went to the gym later in the afternoon without reapplying and in the middle of my sweaty weightlifting workout, I was actually catching whiffs of my own projection and sillage as I moved about which surprised me. Given the affordable price and very high quality, nobody can ever complain they didn't get their money's worth and then some. Easy recommend here.
This is quite dry and not as sweet as other oud colognes I've tested or used. Oud is a very polarizing aroma. I can see why people describe it as "old tire" smell. This proudly wears its oud patch on its sleeve and doesn't soften the blow at all with any added sweetness. Bear this in mind when using, as oud is still a very polarizing aroma. The opening has a strong hit of alcohol and takes a couple of minutes to settle down. This can be misleading, so let it settle first.
This is good for older men, cooler weather, festive occasions, outdoor occasions, and date nights. Can be used for school and work, but go sparingly on the sprays in these cases.
