* Complex blend of sweet, amber, wood, berry, spice and vetiver aromas
* Unisex
* Great for intimate occasions
* Very affordable for a clone of a very high end cologne
* Poor performance
* Requires overspraying and respraying
* Packaging and presentation not up to usual Lattafa/Maison Alhambra high standards
Barocque Rouge Extrait is a clone of MFK Baccarat Rouge Extrait. I have never smelled it and so have no reference to it and am judging this on its own merits. It's a very complex blend of sweet, amber, wood, berry, spice and vetiver aromas and crosses into more than one fragrance family.
This is very enticing for both sexes and can be used by either. Performance is weak, it reminds me of Dolce & Gabbana's The One and the Guess Seductive line in this regard. Overspraying and respraying are required for a moderate performance throughout the day. It's affordable, though, so you can restock aplenty.
This is really a great fragrance for intimate occasions. I rarely describe a fragrance as romantic, but this one deserves the label. It can be used by both men and women during all seasons.
