Baroque Satin Oud is a clone of Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Oud Satin Mood. It's got a very strong opening blast of rose and vanilla and then fragrant oud, powder, and lavender aromas follow in the drydown. The oud is noticeably lighter and fresher than in most other oud fragrances, but it's also supplanted by really strong rose and lavender. Despite the strong floral base, this is really good for men. In fact, IMHO it leans overly masculine despite being a unisex floral fragrance which is surprising. This is a great clone and is way better than its fellow flanker Baroque Rouge 540 Extrait which is clone of MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait.
This has really strong performance and smells rich and sophisticated. It's great for special occasions and dates. It's not necessarily for everyone, that oud note is very mild but it's still oud and it's still very polarizing for some. If it's your thing like mine, this is a great clone and you should get it.
