* Very nice blend of fresh citrus, wood and powder aromas
* Complex and sophisticated for a citrus cologne, in the same vein as Acqua di Gio Profumo
* Nice heavy bottle
* Affordable
* Unisex
* Versatile for all occasions, sexes and ages
* Weak performer; requires overspraying and respraying
Cedrat Essence is a clone of Mancera's Cedrat Boise. It's a nice mix of citrus, wood and powder aromas. That doesn't sound like it works on paper, but neither does citrus and smoke and Acqua di Gio Profondo is immensely popular. This is just as good. It's pretty complex and sophisticated for a citrus cologne, in the same vein as Acqua di Gio Profumo. It's just substituting wood for smoke aromas.
The major drag is a weak performance. The citrus dissipates relatively quickly leaving a woody and powdery drydown that also fades fast. This requires overspraying to start and respraying throughout the day. To be fair, though, I find that very common of citrus colognes.
This is mass appealing and versatile. It's suitable for all occasions, sexes and ages. Easy recommend.
