At first I thought, why did I buy this, I absolutely saw the criticism this received online. However by the dry down I kept smelling my wrist when I tried a few other fragrances that day, more so than the others I had on. Originally a family member wanted something similar to sel d'issey as ganymede that this is cloning was made by the same perfumer. I felt bad when they didn't like this and ended up buying the bottle off them. Well, the summer is over and I've gone through easily 1/4 of the bottle. It's this simplistic fragrance, it's calming, you've got this violet leaf note that pierces through this wateriness. I can see why people claim it smells like being near a waterfall. The only con to this fragrance is you've got to wear at least 10 sprays. So sure, the first few minutes, it smells like a hospital floor but afterwards it's a fragrance that certainly deserves the hype. I wish it was in a more plain bottle as it sticks out like a sore thumb on my shelf.
