Like with all Giardini Di Toscana perfumes, this one lasts for hours on skin and for the first 3 - 4 hours, projects like crazy. I would describe this as a warm, powdery, slightly incense-y perfume that really does evoke a meditative mood. It's not dark, by any means and can be worn in almost any situation; but, when I wear this, I am transported back to my summer trip to Rome, sightseeing at the Vatican. This is a beautiful, deep and elegant fragrance. I love this so much that I purchased a second bottle just to make sure I don't run out!
