Coach Blue is a classic "blue freshie" fragrance, a pleasant and airy blend of notes. It's refreshing and mass appealing, blending citrus, herbal, spicy, ozonic, powdery and light woody notes together. The ozonic notes are what give the sea water smell and remind you of a a tropical beach when combined with the other notes.
This is a quality fragrance, as good as any other designer "blue freshie" on the market. It's casual, pleasant and fresh. It follows the formula to a "T" perfectly, and this ironically is Coach Blue's biggest issue -- it faces a ton of designer and even some discount "blue freshie" competition on the market of equal quality. This makes it hard to stand out from all the YSL "Y"'s, Chanel Bleu's and Nautica "Voyages" and the like that are out on the market.
This is great for both older and younger users, to be used in warmer weather. Performance is average, but that tends to be typical for blue freshies. It's a good addition if you're lacking one of those in your collection and want to give the DNA a try. Recommended.
