An Interesting and Distinct Fragrance Like Nothing Else on the Market

* Very interesting and distinctive fragrance
* Different from almost everything else on the market
* Complex hybrid fragrance that blends fougere, gourmand spice, woody and leather DNAs together successfully
* Very masculine

* May come off smelling as bread or Indian food to some noses
* May be too subtle for some users
* Not good for younger users
* Not unisex
* Will probably be very polarizing
* Weak performer
* Requires overspraying and respraying

Fragrance World's Caliber Declaration is a rather obvious clone of Cartier Declaration. Having no experience with that fragrance, I can only judge Caliber Declaration on its own merits.

This is a very distinctive fragrance, like nothing else on the market today. It's a hybrid fragrance that blends the aromatic fougere, gourmand spice, woody and leather DNAs altogether. On paper it should be a mess. In practice, it's proof that sometimes throwing everything and the kitchen sink into something actually works. It's a complex, distinctive, and very masculine fragrance.

There is no denying, however, that it is probably going to be very polarizing. After the initial fresh opening, the drydown is all spices and very much Indian spices at that. Caraway, coriander, and black pepper are very distinctive and this may come off as smelling like freshly made caraway rye bread or Indian food to some noses.

This fragrance is also very subtle, perhaps too subtle. Performance is weak and requires overspraying to start and respraying throughout the day. An Eau de Parfum or higher concentration would have been much better and in fact the original did indeed release a Parfum version.

This is very masculine but not good for women or for younger users. You're going to have to be brave to try this one, but you'll definitely stand out from the crowd if you do. I would have rated it much higher if the performance were better.
