I was originally intrigued by a comment from Canadian high-fashion model, Monica Schnarre, who offered that she would describe Heritage as something Roger Moore would wear. On sampling it, it quickly became one of my all time favourite fragrances. It has remained so for three decades and counting. Masterfully blended, it is an intoxicating composition of vanilla, patchouli, sandalwood, carnation, amber, lavender and rose. Having only used the EDT, I can't speak to its more concentrated brother. I can't envision a season or occasion when Heritage wouldn't make a profound statement about anyone wearing it. My only tiny bone to pick? Like so many releases from this House, performance could be better. Projection is minimal and longevity is mediocre. But make no mistake: Heritage deserves to hold a place in the pantheon of masterful olfactory creations.
