* Rich and bold wood/leather/fougere hybrid fragrance
* Good blend of leather, woody, herbal, smoky, citrus and spicy aromas
* Quite complex for a value cologne
* Overperforms for the price
* Good for those who prefer drier fragrances
* Definitely not unisex
* Not good for younger users
* Leather note can be polarizing
* Requires lots of confidence to wear
Just Jack Pure Carbon is part of Armaf's affordable Tom Ford clone line. It clones Noir Anthracite and does a fairly good job of nailing the famous Tom Ford "dark" signature to their scents. This is a good blend of leather, woody, herbal, smoky, citrus and spicy aromas. However, don't equate "good" with "mass appealing." This is a wood, leather and fougere hybrid fragrance and each of those alone can be polarizing to some noses. Put them together into one fragrance and the chance goes up exponentially.
This is quite complex for a value fragrance and overperforms for its price point. It's great for older users, though younger ones who prefer the sweet and fresh DNA should avoid. I can't see women using this one. As with all leather forward fragrances, this requires a ton of confidence to wear, but will reward those who do wear it with richness and boldness. Recommended.
