Lattafa's Al Noble Safeer is a really interesting take on an aromatic fougere, adding in citrus notes. This is not unusual, PdM's Sedley and Lattafa's own Maahir Legacy both do this. Where Safeer differs is that it also adds in strong vanilla to the mix as well. The result is a blend of citrus, herbal, spicy, floral, amber, woody and gourmand notes. Most prominent are notes of citrus, juniper pepper, vanilla, flowers and cashmere. The citrus does disappear after the opening blast, however, as the other notes take prominence.
This is pretty unique and a great fragrance for warm weather and outdoor activities. It's great for older users looking for something new in fougeres and younger users looking for a fresh fragrance that's not sweet. Those that do prefers sweetness in their freshies, however, will likely be disappointed even with the nice vanilla note here. This does lean masculine as most fougeres do. Presentation is classy with a felt covered bottle and an ornate metal deer head cap. Recommended, especially for fougere lovers.
