* Great for gourmand and spicy fragrance DNA lovers
* Great for social and festive occasions
* A touch heavy on the Ambroxan, tends to dominate the drydown

* A bit redundant if you have any other powerhouse spicy and/or gourmand fragrances
Fragrance World's Liquid Brun is part of their higher end French Avenue line and is a clone of Parfum de Marley's Althair. Having no experience with Althair,I can only judge this on its own merits. And they are amazing merits. This is a killer gourmand fragrance with a ton of spicy notes as well. It's a great blend of sweet, spicy, citrus, vanilla, caramel, woody and musky aromas. There is a strong Ambroxan base holding this altogether that tends to dominate the drydown which some might find a tad heavy for their liking. Still, it does help push out and project the other notes very well.
This is extremely high quality all around. It's an insanely powerful performer, has a beautiful presentation, is usable by both sexes, and is a great choice for use on social and festive occasions. Not recommended for serious occasion or office use. Gourmand and spicy fragrance DNA lovers will especially enjoy this. It may be a bit redundant if you already have gourmand vanilla and/or spicy powerhouses in your fragrance collection already. This is quite sweet, so those who dislike sweet fragrances may find this cloying and should stay away. For everyone else, this is an absolute total recommend. Liquid Brun absolutely lives up to its hype and then some.
