Pleasant Citrus Aromatic Fougere

* Hybrid Citrus/Aromatic Fougere fragrance
* Good blend of citrus, herbal, floral, and patchouli musk aromas with a pleasant soapy drydown
* Affordable
* Versatile; suitable for any and all occasions
* Unisex
* Good for all ages
* Decent performer

* Leans more towards the Bleu EDT than the EDP
* Not as groundbreaking of a fragrance DNA as one would expect given its long-standing history and hype
* Woody and smoky notes are much weaker compared to the original
* Generic presentation
* Redundant if you have PDM Sedley, CK One or Maahir Legacy

Lattafa Maison Alhambra's Maitre de Blue is a clone of famous runaway hit Chanel's Bleu de Chanel. This is a very good blend of Hybrid Citrus/Aromatic Fougere fragrance. It's a hybrid citrus/aromatic fougere fragrance. It's a good blend of citrus, herbal, floral, and patchouli musk aromas with a pleasant soapy drydown.

This does lean more towards the EDT and noticeably has much weaker woody and smoky notes. As such, this is much more comparable to and will immediately remind you of Parfum de Marley's Sedley or Lattafa's own Maahir Legacy or Calvin Klein's CK One. it's a bit redundant if you have any of those but otherwise a very good choice. This is unisex, versatile for use in any and all occasions, good for all ages and a decent performer, all for a very good price. Presentation is rather generic, but you can live with that for the price. Recommended, especially since you can't get any Chanel products at all via online discounters.

Great fragrance but not mind-blowing

Maison Alhambra Maître de Blue is a really smooth, easy-wearing fragrance with no harsh edges whatsoever. I picked it up because of all the massive hype surrounding the Bleu de Chanel DNA, but to be completely honest, it didn't quite blow me away the way I expected it to. It smells very pleasant, clean, and put-together—like you just stepped out of a high-end shower—but the scent profile feels a bit understated and familiar rather than exciting.
That said, it’s an absolute workhorse of a fragrance. It’s the kind of reliable bottle you can throw on for literally any occasion, whether you're keeping it casual around the house or dressing it up a bit for an evening out. Performance is decent, and overall I'm happy to have it in the collection for an easy daily reach. But when I'm looking for real character, depth, and excitement in a scent, I find myself reaching for my darker, richer fragrances every time.
