Lattafa's Mashrabya is a clone of Kilian's Smoking Hot. I have no experience with it and can only judge Mashrabya on its own merits. A Mashrabya is a projecting ornate carved wood latticework window commonly seen in Middle Eastern architecture, and you can see that styling in the equally ornate bottle design.
This is a potent fragrance, very warm and inviting and seductive. It's a great cross between a gourmand fragrance and a tobacco fragrance. It blends sweet, fruity, spicy, tobacco, vanilla, musky, light smoke and oud aromas. Prominent are apple, cinnamon, tobacco, vanilla and a lightly smoky oud. The fruit note is very prominent upon first spraying but honestly dissipates pretty much immediately and moves right onto the richer notes in the mid and drydown.
This is great for cooler weather, both sexes can use it, and both gourmand and tobacco fragrance lovers should appreciate it. It might be a bit overwhelming in warmer weather. Those who dislike sweet fragrances should avoid. Performance is slightly above average, could do a bit better in the sillage but longevity is quite good. Presentation is very nice. Recommended.
If You like the scent of Kilian Smoking Hot but aren't ready to pay full price, Lattafa Mashrabya is a good choice. It smells very similar to Smoking Hut - it's the same fragrance profile. However... it's not as rich and intense as the Original Smoking Hot and it's not as long-lasting.
Very superior smell , very affordable range
Strong apple shisha tobacco that sticks but not my type. Not for me.
One of the few fragrances I own that scored a bunch of compliments.
