Emir's Identity Oud Crescent is a clone of Frederic Malle's The Moon. Judging solely on its own merits, this is a ridiculously potent leather and floral hybrid fragrance with a very strong oud note on the drydown. It opens with sweet tropical fruit and then the leather and rose come on strong in the mid. The black pepper spice and oud come on the drydown. None of the notes fade, they all blend into each other to make for a strong and cohesive whole. And I do mean strong.
This is quite a strong blend of sweet, fruit, oud, powdery, leather, woody, spicy and floral rose notes. Its very masculine, might lean far too much that way for some female users despite the powder and rose notes. The leather and oud are quite strong and are polarizing notes for some on their own. Put them together and add some strong rose and you've got a beautiful but challenging fragrance to wear. This is a definite love it or leave it proposition, and requires a ton of confidence to wear. There's no denying, however, that this is a very unique and potent fragrance overall. Highly recommended.
I had to dig what this is cloning of and find out it's another fragrance inspired by Frederic Malle "The Moon". It's got a nice sweet fruity and rosy opening along with the warm richness of Oriental resinous and woody notes. Definitely rose and oud are the focal point through the life of scent journey but it's more complex than just typical rose & oud fragrances. It's almost linear but slight changes or development along the way but nice rich woody and oud-y resinous amber-y notes are through and through till the end companied with some sweet fruity vibes, with both deep sweet roses and fresh roses and also some leathery accord. You can tell it's quite complex and it doesn't smell like a clone or cheap at all. The performance is superb so it projects loud and wide, lasts on your skin for long hours so I'm a heavy sprayer but needed to spray with caution. It's absolutely worth the price and it could be a signature fragrance.
This perfume smells very expensive. It gets better the longer it sits. Very smooth, very classy perfume. I just cant believe its so affordable.
It smells so good! 90% similar to Frederick malle the moon! With such a good price!
