Lattafa's Oud Mood Reminiscence or Oud Mood Silver if you prefer is a unique and possibly very polarizing fragrance. It combines elements of the floral, oud and aromatic fougere fragrance DNAs. It's a nice blend of floral, powdery, herbal, patchouli musk and light oud aromas.
The biggest surprise is how light the actual oud note is and how strong the rose and oakmoss notes are in comparison. There is a definite oud note here but it is not the dominant one. It may even be too light for oud lovers. This is a very good twist on the classic Middle Eastern combo of oud and rose, but that doesn't make it any less polarizing a scent. Some may find the fougere characteristics too old fashioned and oud is always going to offend some noses. It takes a confident wearer to use this.
Those that do use it will be rewarded with good performance, an excellent price point, and a unique fragrance. Recommended.
