* Nice blend of sweet, spice (cinnamon), floral (lavender) and musk aromas
* Heavy high quality bottle
* Actually distinguishes itself well from the cologne it's trying to clone
* Unisex thanks to the floral note
* Low performance
* Requires overspraying and respraying
Wayfarer Homme purports to be a clone of Azzaro's Wanted By Night. It's definitely got some elements with it being a sweet aroma overall marked by cinnamon and lavender and musk aromas. That lavender note is quite prominent in the opening, distinguishing it well from the very fragrance it's trying to clone. Think of this as more of a flanker to Wanted By Night than a clone of it.
The only major drawback to the cologne is that it has a low performance factor. Longevity and projection and sillage are all fairly average to weak depending on how much you spray on. It reminds me of the English Laundry and Guess Seductive lines which are also high quality aromas but with low performance as well. Wayfarer will require both overspraying and respraying.
This is good for colder seasons but is also good for warmer weather where the lower performance actually works to its advantage. It's good for both day and night, festive and formal occasions, work and leisure. I'd say it's also unisex thanks to the lavender note but women should also be aware it will have notes of cinnamon and musk in the drydown.
