Powerful Smoky Sweet Fragrance

* Very powerful smoky sweet fragrance
* Heady blend of sweet, smoke, leather, vanilla, amber, powder and musk aromas
* Great performer with ridiculously long sillage
* Warm, mature and sophisticated
* Great for older users

* Not good for younger users
* Leans heavily masculine despite unisex marketing
* Not good for those who dislike sweet fragrances

Paris Corner Rifaaqat is a clone of Yves Saint-Laurent Babycat. Having never smelled that, I can only judge Rifaaqat on its own phenomenal merits. Straight up, this is an incredibly powerful fragrance. It's a heady and strong blend of sweet, smoke, vanilla, leather, amber, powder and musk aromas. Performance is incredible, the sillage so strong that I continuously smell a single spray on my wrist as I type away. Whatever you think of this, no one will ever complain about its performance.

This is great for older male users. It's marketed as unisex, but it honestly leans heavily male and I just cannot see either women or younger males using this. It's also not good for those who dislike sweet fragrances. Overall it's a warm, mature and sophisticated fragrance that packs power in its squat square bottle. Don't let the plain presentation fool you. The packaging doesn't need to be loud, the fragrance does more than enough in that regard to convince you. Highly recommended.

Smoky vanilla

Smoky scent with a hint of vanilla. Not a powerhouse perfume. I prefer beast mode EDPs that have staying power. Good for the price if you don't mind reapplying often. Reminds me of camping at night sitting by a nice warm fire.

Great clone of Babycat

I recently got YSL’s Babycat as a Christmas gift for myself, and although I really enjoy it, because I love the scent profile, I didn’t want to waste it on daily wears. For these regular occasions I usually turn to a clone, and Rifaaqat does that really well. It gives off the same suede-like vanilla as in Babycat, and especially for the price, you can’t beat it. Admittedly it does dry down to be a bit less smooth than the original and a bit more peppery, but again, as a clone it gets about 90% of the way there, and I really do enjoy it. Serves its purpose really well as a cold-weather fragrance and performs very well; a good 8 hours on me personally. Great addition to my collection!

Boring scent

It is boring, not well done. I really don't understand the hype. I am really disappointed. I won't wear this. If you like an airy chemical kind of vanilla with no personality, it is for you.

RATED 4/10

Hey guys, i personally sampled this fragrance and its not as pleasing as in the review. Last for 2hrs, and its smell is unnoticeable. I wouldn't recommend especially if you like fragrances that last the whole day. Videos and photos coming soon.
