This is a pure and refined scent. There is a similarity with Pleasures, but Romance is softer and calmer. For me, it is unique. The scent is great to wear in any weather and does not irritate me even in extreme heat. Romance evokes associations with a retro image for me. Silk, lace, hat, gloves, Victorian England. I REALLY love it. Out of five stars, I would give it six)
