Emir's Identity Rose & Leather is an aptly named fragrance whose draw is in the name: this is a very strong floral and leather hybrid fragrance with leather and rose being the main players. This is not a sweet rose, but a dry vegetal one. The leather and rose notes are supported by spicy, woody, and vetiver notes. It very much comes across as a freshly cut rose where the floral aroma from the petals mixes with that of the freshly cut stalk.
This is really unusual and challenging for a fragrance. It could be very polarizing to some noses, and might lean far too masculine for some female users despite the presence of rose. It's great for those who love a drier fragrance, though, and are tired of the sweet and fresh trend. I'd argue that its sibling flankers Oud Crescent and Unique Portrait are far more complex and intriguing fragrances, but this is still quite intriguing. Recommended.
The scent is nice. However, it fell short on the scent that I expected of. As I spray, I can easily trace the scent of its Top Notes (Geranium, Black Currant and a hint of spice – Pepper). As it dries down, I find its Mid Notes missing – no trace of Rose or Leather. And with the Base Notes, I can only trace the hint of Cedar but no Vetiver.
Overall, this scent is more of a Black Currant vibe instead of the “Leather & Rose”.
It reminds me of the scent from JML English Oak & Red Currant. So, if you love a sweet scent this would be for you.
It has a good atomizer. The scent stays for about 6 to 8 hours and even longer (about 10 to 12 hrs.) when it’s sprayed on clothing. What’s nice is that the perfume doesn’t leave any trace of stain on my clothes.

Do not blind buy it, but it can be appreciated! Its extremely realistic to the stems of a bouquet of roses.
