I'll admit I didn't like this when I first got it, there was this ink like facet to it, there was this rough lemon grass opening. I wore it twice and quickly gave it to my brother. Well, about a year later he wore it heavily on dates, to work and while he walked the dog. I got bored and tried it again and it really improved. I've never tried the original YSL Y EDP but apparently this is a slightly darker take on it.

This is a dark blue, spicy, shower gel like scent, there's a bit of soapiness to it in the background but this is a very simple fragrance to wear and describe. It performs really well and projects. This could be worn by anyone in almost any situation except maybe hot days.

the box is weird, the cap on the bottle is unnecessarily ugly. I wouldn't think in a million years this would be any good. However, this is another one I highly recommend for people to check out as at the end of the day it's really well put together fragrance. Just forget about it after a few sprays and come back to it a few months later.
