Victorioso Victory is pretty much a dead on clone of Invictus Victory, the sole gourmand twist of the popular and successful Invictus line from Paco Rabanne, itself a successor to the underrated Pure XS line. It's a strong mix of sweet, vanilla, amber and spice aromas. Emphasis on the sweet. It's definitely a gourmand fragrance and it comes off as chocolate, candy or Coca-Cola at times to the nose.
This is definitely not for those who dislike sweet fragrances. The fresh and marine notes associated with the other Invictus and Victorioso colognes helped balance out the sweetness in those. Here, the vanilla and spice emphasize it. It is for those who love gourmand colognes, as it brings complexity instead of just relying on the vanilla alone to carry it.
Performance is excellent, with very strong projection, longevity and sillage. It's good for both sexes but leans very young and is not appropriate for older users or for formal or somber occasions. It's a feel good fragrance and should be used for feel good occasions. The bottle is heavy and high quality and way better than the tacky trophy bottle used by the Invictus line.
