I love the Xerjoff brand and own several Xerjoff fragrances, but 1861 Renaissance was a disappointment for me.

The longevity is very poor. I can smell it for about an hour, after which it becomes a skin scent. The projection is only moderate as well.

I’d recommend getting Xerjoff Nio instead. It’s much fresher, lasts significantly longer, and has far better projection.

First off, I love to say that I received this order within 2 days of purchase. The opening is like standing under a lemon tree in the hot summer while holding a tangerine to my nose. As it dries down, it starts to blend and smoothen in the air with the mint. Also, great longevity and about an arm's length projection with a nice scent trail. It has to be one of the best citrus fragrances ever, but if citrus isn't your thing, you should definitely pass.
