Dumont's Nitro Blue is a flanker in their popular and viral Nitro line. The "Blue" moniker would lead you to believe it's a "blue freshie" type of aquatic fragrance, but it's actually a take on the modern sweet and fresh fragrance DNA that is loved by younger users today. It will easily remind you of sweet and fresh fragrance hits such as Rabanne's 1 Million, PdM's Pegagus and Armaf's Craze.
This is a good blend of sweet, spicy. floral, fruity, patchouli musky, woody and powdery aromas. It's actually pretty complex for a sweet and fresh style of fragrance. There's a lot going on and just when you pick up one particular note, another comes wafting in. However, it is a bit redundant if you already have lots of sweet and fresh fragrances in your collection.
This is great for younger users of both sexes, to be used on social occasions, and will do great in warmer weather. It's probably too sweet for some older users, but everyone else should enjoy this. Recommended.
* Hybrid fougere/gourmand fragrance with an amber touch
* Great take on the Eros/Le Male vanilla forward formula
* Good blend of sweet, vanilla, floral, herbal, amber, and woody aromas
* Vanilla, lavender and amber forward
* Great modern take on the classic fougere formula
* Uplifting and mass appealing
* Sweetness may turn off old school fougere fans
* Plain presentation
* Average performance
Dumont's Nitro Green continues the Nitro line's playful blending of familiar fragrance DNAs and blending them into something entirely new. Nitro Red went viral by mixing the Invictus and Baccarat Rouge 540 DNAs together. Nitro Green mixes Eros or Le Male with the modern fougere DNA that switches out classic green oakmoss for sweeter and more fragrant lavender.
The result is a good blend of sweet, vanilla, floral, herbal, amber, and woody aromas. The vanilla, lavender and amber are prominent in this uplifting and mass appealing formula. Old school fougere fans who enjoy the strongly herbal oakmoss notes of yesteryear may find this too sweet and floral for their liking. Everyone else should really enjoy this.
Presentation is plain here as it is for the entire Nitro line but it is consistent. Performance is just average, noticeably weaker than Nitro Red, but not an underperformer by any means. A nice addition to the line. Recommended.
My third scent experience from this collection. Has a strong opening note to it that almost makes it feel masculine, but as I continue to smell it, it turns powdery with a hint of spice. Great projection, excellent dry down
Smells so good but This is famous with its longevity and performance but it dissapointed me , I have tried it 2 months ago it was amazing it last 10 hours and had amazing projection but the one I bought here is so bad last just 2-3 hours and very weak I dont know why !
i haven’t met someone yet that has told me they don’t like the fragrance, and my first time trying it, 3 of my friends all said it smelled really good. personally i find it really strong in the beginning, but it calms down after about 20 mins.
I am a diehard 1980s powerful power house perfume fan. When I first sprayed this, I smell sweet plum, and as that dies down, I get a coconut scent, the coconut sense stays for most of wear time which is about 4 to 5 hours the plum doesn’t disappear though it’s always coming out to remind you that she’s there. I love the fact that it’s very strong and lasts. The silliage is reasonably close to the body . I find all the perfect perfumes bottles to be adorable.
This is a cold vanilla scent that turns heads. I find slight notes of chocolate and woody vibes. I get many compliments with this and it is almost spot on to BE gold bottle. Has great longevity
At first sniff this was very underwhelming for me. Even a bit stinky. But open maceration, the scent profile became absolutely beautiful. Definitely a strong scent and not for everyone but I find it great for a nighttime fragrance
This vanilla is very deep and brown sugary. Careful because it will stain white clothing once macerated. A little goes a long way but I do find myself reapplying often. The scent itself is lovely though
This is a lemon pie fragrance and it has amazing longevity. First off the bottle is BEAUTIFUL I mean look at it. The notes open with strong lemon (but not like a artificial lemon or cleaning product but rather a rich citrusy vibe) then on the dry down it is a sweet and fluffy vanilla with hints of lemon.
I absolutely adore this scent in the winter. It is warm and apple pie baked goodness. This is very cozy and unisex. Such a good cuddling fragrance for both men and women!
This scent is tried and true. Loved by many and rightfully so. Beautiful blend of florals and vanillas. I would consider this a summer date night fragrance. It will smell up the entire room and leave people wanting more.
This is SUCH a compliment getter. The bottle is absolutely stunning but the fragrance inside is the most beautiful part. For this price you really can’t beat it! An exact partner to its high heeled comparison. Has great longevity and projection. Although I go nose blind after a bit, I will still have people smelling it on me for hours.
I blind bought this after rave reviews and I could not be happier! Immediately ordered 2 more bottles. This is my signature scent with great projection and longevity. Always a compliment getter. It smells better than BBG. Opens with a stronger lavender but dries down to be a gourmand vanilla. Smells very rich and lasts all day on my clothes
I've been looking at this perfume for some time. Now that I finally have it. Its one of my best pefumes in my line up. It has a powdery and sweet finish. Last a decent amount of time. In terms of scent profile im a amber lover (vanilla, sandalwood, cinnamon, etc) and this is an Amber type of perfume. Overall very good i'd recommend
I got lots of compliments from both men and women. Super in your face on the initial spray but the dry down is immaculate.
This is one of my personal favorites. Its complicated. There's so many notes, it takes a couple minutes to settle down before its really enjoyable.
It starts as a floral bomb of marigold and lavender, but that settles after a couple minutes and it becomes a very clean masculine scent. Sort of like a clean baby, and a forest combined.
If you look at the list of notes, its huge. Sure you may occasionally pick out a whiff of lavender, bran, marigold, hay, or cypress but it doesnt really smell like you'd think it would all together.
I say its a clean baby, and a forest. Or maybe a baby, thats also a lumberjack.
Very clean and green. Suitable any time of year or for any occasion. You could wear it to work, church, the gym, a job interview, or a date. Its never going to offend anyone.
Its not very intense, despite the name. I recommend a few extra sprays for this. It has a little weaker projection, and sillage than average and will become a pleasant skin scent after 4-5 hrs. Still very noticeable up close after 10hrs.
Its my personal favorite "Go Anywhere, Do Anything" cologne.
first of all the packaging is amazing. made me feel rich 😂😂😂😂the scent is amazing. the vanilla caramel i just loveeee.
don’t think about it just get it unless you don’t like such a strong smell. it smells amazing and there is not a day i wear this scent and don’t get stopped for compliments. my favourite!!
This is now my second bottle of this. This dries down the same as Oud Satin Mood; and on initial spray in the air, you really cannot tell the difference. Inexpensive, and I've also gotten so many compliments on this from my work colleagues.
This is a dupe of Byredo's Rose of No Man's Land. They honestly did a pretty good job. The presentation is weird, real rose petals/potpourri on the box. The bottle is not my favourite and I'll be decanting this into a more aesthetic one.
It sucks. If you’re used to sweetish or fruity or gourmet fragrances, do not get this, really sweaty spice and it smells like as if you got a whiff of an old man’s dusty wallet. Another bad thing about this is the performance, IT LASTS FOREVER AND ITS HORRIBLE, you don’t want people smelling this on you, and it’s projection is crazy, which is also a bad thing, they only did one thing right and it’s the performance. Only an old Italian mob boss or LeBron could ever pull this fragrance off, I’m probably gonna leave it macerating for decades before it starts to smell good.
